We've received an update from Labor Relations. The contract has gone through another step in the process. The next step is signing and sending to Executive Board.
On another note: We do not know the date for retro pay but we do know it will be on one check. Membership will be informed when we have a date.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement has been ratified! 149 out of 198 members voted. There were 146 Yes and 3 No votes submitted.

We have reached a tentative agreement with the Commonwealth!!! Please look for further information in your work email.

Thursday, 4.11.2024, the FOSCEP contract negotiations team is scheduled to meet with labor relations to finalize all summary changes for the new collective bargaining agreement.

A meeting between the contract negotiation team and labor relations is planned for 4.3.2024. This meeting is to finalize negotiations and language in the collective bargaining agreement.

We, FOSCEP, submitted counter proposals to labor relations. They have been received and our team is waiting for a response.

Labor Relations has sent us a (finalized) proposal. Our team met on Friday 1.26.2024, to review the proposal. We will be reconvening this week to write up our counter proposal and submit it to labor relations.
It is extremely difficult to schedule in-person meetings with so many different people and schedules. At this point, we are trying to expedite the process by communicating via calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
Please note that updates are posted when there is information to post. If there is not an updated posted, then there is no new information to share.
Additionally, please be respectful of our brothers and sisters who are voluntarily giving their time and effort to our cause. All work is done between professional responsibilities and personal obligations.

Unfortunately, both meetings in December were postponed due to illnesses among team members.
We are working with labor relations to secure meeting dates for January.

The FOSCEP contract negotiation team and the State will be meeting on 12.14 and 12.20.2023 to continue negotiations. Active members will receive an email today, 12.13.2023, with important information regarding negotiations and a survey to complete. The email will be sent to your personal account on file. The FOSCEP contract negotiation team and the State has met three times to discuss the contract. There are two more meetings scheduled one during the week of 12/11 and the other during the week of 12/18 to address the contract. Any increases in salary would be retroactive to 7/1/23 after the union membership reviews, votes and ratifies the contract and OA takes the contract to Governor's office for final approval.
